KEITH JACKSON STATUE AT THE ROSE BOWL STADIUM
by Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation
IN MEMORY OF THE LEGENDARY KEITH JACKSON
Keith Jackson was the author of the ‘Granddaddy of Them All’ nickname that is enjoyed today as part of a global Rose Bowl Game brand on New Year’s Day. His voice recorded the soundtrack of the biggest moments in college football, the Olympic Games, Wide World of Sports, the first season of Monday Night Football, and beyond. For over 50 years, he was a symbol of togetherness and inspiration for sports fans across the globe. As a mentor and father figure to some, he felt like a friend to millions watching from their homes.
INSPIRED BY HIS LEGACY: The Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation is embarking on an important public appeal to raise funds in support of the world's first and only statue of Keith Jackson, which will reside at the Rose Bowl Stadium in sunny Pasadena, in the shadows of the broad-shouldered San Gabriel Mountains - where Keith called the most Rose Bowl Games of any broadcaster in history.
Please help us in raising the funds needed to commemorate such an iconic sports figure.
We thank you for your contribution!
